Looking out for each other

Never underestimate the person who is processing trauma. This person has seen through the darkest places the world holds but is still standing before you. Determined to experience the warmth of light again.

It is always the strongest shoulders that carry the heaviest burden. That the strongest should suffer this fate is that fair? That we supposedly distribute the burden fairly according to bearing? When these strong individuals eventually succumb to this weight? That diligence, commitment and knowledge provide insufficient foundation?

Then cracks appear in the house where they live. Suddenly their house is uninhabitable. You wonder what you actually did to shore up that house?
