Time is irreplaceable!

Life is not just the passing of time.
Life is the collection of experiences and their intensity.

–– Jim Rohn

The clock pushes the hands forward imperturbably. Always making sure they return to their old place every twenty-four hours. Day after day, week after week. Time, while free, is also irreplaceable. Time once consumed never returns. Spend time wisely! But unfortunately, we squander our time more often than we care to. Then we run out of time. We want more time so we can finish our Netflix series, in the morning we want to stay in bed just a little longer, and at work you also need more time to finish your job...In the end, it's not about time, it's about priority.

But why is it that we look at time this way? That time is the linchpin of our existence. Just look at your salary, it is paid by the month or by the hour. The tenor of the story is that it is about work time. This is a costly misunderstanding because why does one person get €10 per hour and another gets €100 per hour? All two have worked the same hour. So it's not about time, it's about the value you create in that hour! Ask yourself the question; what value have you created recently? To what extent have you been of value to yourself, to your clients or to your family?

Experience shows that many people spend much of their time doing little things, things that don't really matter. Doing things that represent little value. They turn side issues into their main tasks. Recognizable? Then time management is for you. Have you already drawn up a list of priorities and goals? With such a list you simply get more results.

A useful tool for prioritizing is the Eisenhower Matrix. This matrix helps you do the right activities in the right order. When you consistently stick to the right activities you move entire mountain ranges in a short period of time.
