If a farmer can't swim.... it's because of the water.

It was a favorite saying of my father. Often heard during my childhood. The farmer always has an explanation as to why he can't do something.

Every time I took too little personal responsibility. That I blamed others when something didn't work out. Always look at your own part, what can you change yourself? That was his message.

It's certainly not the water!
